C-10 is constantly on the outlook for new members and participants in the IAEG C-10 activities as indicated in the long-term Aims and Objectives. Present core activities include country monographs of stone resources co-published with UNESCO, stone standardization issues with emphasis on geological characteristics, terminology, and also geotechnical classifications. Participants in C-10 include Engineering Geologists, civil and mining engineers, educators, researchers, students as well as stone professionals and practitioners. Meetings usually take place during IAEG related and sponsored events usually not less than once a year, and are open to persons interested in the work of C-10 and who are encouraged to join IAEG.
